David’s Story

I’ve been a butcher for over 19 years. I took the challenge of setting up my own shop in Dec 2018 in the small town of Coleford.

 Here I have put meat in to awards and I’ve won. I’m proud to now call myself an award winning butcher. When I did my apprenticeship to become a butcher back when I was 20 I won apprenticeship of the year and was given an award in London to which I’m very proud of. I source my meat locally and ensure every piece is fresh and well looked after. Many of my customers come back to me explaining its the best meat they have tasted, and I’m often told I’m second to none. I work had and strive to keep my high standard to quality meat.
